Flostar Plumbing Solutions began with a practical decision. After years in the trade, Rick Jondreau wanted to build a plumbing company where customer relationships mattered as much as the repair. He and his wife took the step into entrepreneurship, and Rick incorporated Flostar in Red Deer in 2017.

A Red Deer plumbing company built from experience

Rick grew up in Brooks, about two and a half hours south of Red Deer. He moved to a larger city at 18 and built a plumbing career that now spans approximately 16 years. As Flostar approaches a decade in business, the company remains locally owned and operated.

For Rick and his wife, entrepreneurship offered more freedom, accountability, and room to serve customers in the way they believed was right. Their family is also involved in other local businesses, including Herc’s Nutrition. Flostar is one part of their long-term commitment to building businesses in the Red Deer community.
